marcus came back from taiwan! finally! haha. really envious of him lol. we were supposed to go 2gather and our R&R would be together one! knn!

BUT because our dear fucking eric tan soon chye went on mc, i wasnt able to go. =(
i was the one who sent him to hospital that day.
i even visited him with sgt major when he got discharged.
when he said his mc got extended we re-visited him again.

out of those visits, he was perfectly fine.
his condition was supposed to be "leg pain." and he "operated his feet".
actual fact is that he got a corn on his feet. it was removed via surgery. and that warrants him a 2-3 mth mc?

he claimed that he cannot walk. when i visited him, he was at coffeeshop DRINKING. went down a few times and its the same. he's been drinking non stop. and the best miracle i saw was HE CAN WALK PERFECTLY. when questioned, he will say he still not feeling well. so my question now is, assuming the doctor refuse to give him the mc, he will come back to work?

being sick is not one's fault. nobody wants to be sick. but the things that u're showing me is that u're not genuinely sick. and the saddest part is that i have people like chen shuai, edeson and kai xiang who were genuinely sick during your period of absence and didnt wanna report sick even i told them to. why? because they all know that we have alot of things to do up and we are really busy and down on manpower. Responsibility is the word here.

you should learn to wake up. if they were to tell u to leave, i guess it'll already be too late for you.

we can help you in terms of work, but you should learn to help yourself too.

Christmas is here!
nothing much to celebrate about since i dun have alot of money with me. gah. ns is sure tough.

my bro came telling me he wanna intro me to some female friend of his who worked at butt factory. in case i wanna go there, she can put me in guest list so i dun needa queue. damn.. maybe i'll check out one of these wednesdays, if possible. for some reason he's even got some free entrance tix to wavehouse's party this december. god damned that kid. how come he's like so rich when we're both brothers?

am so addicted to this song, parisienne walkways now. i know it's really old song but playing it on guitar just gimme a very good feeling. its like some sad song with lotsa feel, if u noe what i'm saying. despite all that, it gives me that mud feeling. lol. fyi, versailles has a song called silent knight which had a similar tune hidden in the song.

its so good to have johnathan (or edeson) back from his 1 week leave! hahaha!

earlier this week we started the "ratata, pigeoto and snorlax" nonsense! and we put in place today! chinaman told us he wants to be pigeoto out of the 3 above mentioned choices, not knowing wth is each of them! HAHAHA!

ytd we went for food tasting for the comms parade dinner. chinaman finished everything served to him. yea, whole plate was all clean, shiny. then andrew gave that evil smile while asking, "eh chen shuai, u very hungry issit?" oh well, its so ROFL.

and for today? johnathan did some crazy stunts before we went back. he plugged his ipod into the speakers and started playing some music with heavy bass. when chinaman came back, johnathan started to turn off the lights and did the pelvic thrusting "dance" on my table's edge, together with the music's progression. seeing this, chinaman tot its fun and he started dancing with the music, with the lights off. being nice, johnathan used his hp's light to flash on chinaman, trying to create the "disco" feel for him. LOL! i wanted to luff so badly but i cant! coz we cannot let him know its all part of our plan to make him look like a cock! and he fell for it! LOL!

well, quite surprisingly, he danced with confidence, with ending dance moves like "shor-ryu ken" (imagine ken from Street Fighter. yes he did the upper cross punch) and "hook punch" (the street fighter barlog style). johnathan was discussing with me later when we were heading for dinner that maybe we should ask him to improvise his moves abit and add in the "hadoken" (ryu's special move. street fighter 4) as part of his signature moves.

half day off today and i was reading this manga bout the guy who fell in love with an older gal. she's like 5 yrs older than him. but well, the story was really very nice and touching. haa.

somehow or rather i feel that i really need to spend more time with my guitar nowadays. i havnt been improving much and the people around me has moved on so fast and far. if only instruments are easy to play, they will surely be more fun and enjoyable to play with. but still, i've never felt alone since i started playing guitar. it just makes me happy when i'm sad.

OMFG! he owns 3 FENDER GUITARS! but sadly, he's trading one off tml for an ibanez rg470. if i'm him i'll keep the fender. uber thin neck, 24F, SSH, ORIGINAL FLOYD ROSE. its a mij fender from the 1980s. fuken 20 yrs old instrument. and not to mention it's a limited edition stuff! where to find a 24F original floyd fender nowadays? damnnn if i have the money i'll really buy from him. =(

very fun saturday!went out with mabel, fin and kit to town to catch christmas carol!

we were wearing this paper bag with eyeholes thingy we got from the nissan promoters along orchard road and took pics of it. its soooo damn awesome!

and best part is we catch the movie 2 times, straight in a row coz the staff failed to inform us the movie timing when she offered us to watch the 3D version of it instead. however, the supervisor was kind enough to give us complimentary tix to catch the next show! LOL! stunning effects from the movie. i loved the part(s) when they had the snow flying all over the place. its as if i can grab them with my hands. haha

after that we went to boat quay to drink (less mabel) with face, james and aaron. this time was amber 21. kit, fin and i was so shocked when we saw cheryl in that outfit that we didnt wanna go inside. its quite paiseh, seriously. despite that we still ended up inside with the rest. heng i didnt get drunk =)

ytd was quite a blow! meet up with kit, qing and mabel to go nua!

we ended up having mahatthan fish mkt instead of astons. mabel's the legend here. she insisted on FRESHLY GRINDED GROUND PEPPER on her soup instead of the normal powdered one that they serve and she got the staff there taking this UBER BIG PEPPER GRINDER out and try to make some of the requested stuff on her soup. we were all luffing like mad. LOL. best part was no pepper came out from it and she got so dulan.

yahama ps has stocked up with ALOT of fernandes mocking birds for some reason with everything above that 1k price tag. i think fernandes is damn smart with producing hide signature guitars non stop as they no longer need to pay the late hide for endorsing fee since he's dead. seriously, they should stop producing his signature guitars. respect the dead la.

rushed off to the airport for some official work before 2359, and went back to cathay just in time to catch paranormal activity at 0130. best part abt this was that i got thrown with pop corns for no reason while i was in the theatre. =(

kit was telling me the other day that tequila shots are very powerful drinks. according to him, his mum can only tahan 2 straight shots. (his mum's a great drinker btw). pretty amazing. i tried once (but only a shot of it) and it's ok leh. i've drank quite alot before that shot, so probably it no longer has any effects on me OR i am already too seh to rmb anything.

alright, so here's the real deal. since kit and i have yet to try anything like 5 teq shots at one go, maybe we should try something like 10 shots at one go. i wonder if its too little or too much. LOL. find a day we check out dblo (shots are cheaper there LOL) and we'll find out if we can last. LOL. btw thats like 1000 calories for 10 shots of that.

i feel so inspired after watching the video on dick and rick hyot. for those who know him, u'll know what i mean.

if i am all healthy and able to move around freely, i should be running in marathons, because there are people out there who wants to run but they are not able to. dick's actions really earned my respect as he brought rick along with him to all marathons and triathalons, completing all races without fail. that determination and will power is so strong that he overcame almost everything. he did all these for his son, rick, who loved sports so much but wasnt able to participate due to his disability.

I found out something really SHOCKING today. It was so SHOCKING that I can stone for at least one whole day.

Yes, I SWEAR. I was almost in tears as the words get inside me, letter by letter, word by word.

If you're willing enough to share the problems, I am more than willing to lend a listen ear and help.

I do have my problems too, tho I rarely go around sharing and I am really glad that I have someone out there willing to listen to me. It can be my sister, it can be my buddy, it can be anybody.

What could have been worst is when there are no people who's willing enough to help.

anw we did a 4-5km run today. it all started out fun, until we reached the slope. the people suddenly went crazy and decided that they should dash up the slopes at crazy speed. i did not manage to finish the last 400m or so coz my knee was in pain. =( i guess the dash at the slope had abit of strain on it. gah.

i not in a very good mood today plus i just kinda recovered from my illness. screw that ya? screw blogger at the same time too.

i got arrowed to run with the school on monday morning for no reason. cool. i can run, but i dun enjoy running in mass. especially running with so many high ranking people. it just makes me feel abit uneasy.

as for today, i did an almost full setup for my les paul. i changed the strings given to me last time. .009 to .042. personally i feel that its too light. the tension feels abit funny and it feels more like a .008 than a .009. i'll be swapping them out for .010 in 2 weeks time. you will know why as you read on.

i've done the intonation and everything swee swee all the way to 22F. the only thing that pisses me off is the fret buzz. the strings are too light till i have to relieve my truss rod fully, and this only helps abit in solving the buzz problem. wtf. i didnt want to touch the action as i feel that any higher will be quite hard to play with. string tension not enuf, neck too straight. wtf.

i've been complaining alot lately. my apologies for that dah.
next few weeks will be hell for me. i'm involved in alot of work in camp + i kena 3x extra duty + i might have to go back on weekend(s) + i have to stay back late. not to mention the usual training resumes after my attend b.

just an update of what happened recently. i was sick for the past week, with fever, flu and sorethroat. the flu was so hardcore that the pressure from each and every sneeze's pressure can burst my throat. i'm on my bed most of the time. anw, i have yet to recover fully and i am visiting my doctor again. + i missed natsu matsuri. wtf.

yesterday's parade was quite fun imo. with no lights etc. quite an experience with some rare sightings.(LOL!)

i feel so retard for missing out on american idol season 8, BIG TIME!
i am now so in love with adam lambert's voice.. lol. (that doesnt mean i am gay, like him).
he's just got a fantastic voice. i like it best when he's singing with the voice he used to sing mad world. awwww. it just melts my heart.. and yes, he's really good with rock genre-based songs too!

and the music scene in US, taiwan and japan is so much different from singapore. cant compare i guess. so many factors here and there. it's never ending if we were to compare.

planning to go genting in september, if situation and money permits. =D it's been a very very long time since i travelled overseas. and now that I'm old enough, I should try travelling by myself. it's gonna be super fun exploring! haha!

tip of the day: emo ppl are damn scary (only to a certain extend, depends on how emo they cam get). applies to both gender. reason is that they tend to turn into psychopaths in time to come. at least a 20-40% (figures based on my estimation) occurance for such cases. good thing is that they tend to be very considerate, sometimes to the extend that it's abit over the limit that one can feel comfortable with. they usually needs attention and seeks confidence from their social circles.

finally after so long hor, managed to meet up with cow ruka ika to catch a horror movie called "Drag me to Hell (tekong)". its a low budget production movie by spiderman director with a 4/5 star rating. and yes, i enjoyed to the max. pls jio me for horror movies more next time.

throughout the show, ruka was luffing most of the time. it just shows that how scary she can be. never would i believe it. i sincerely thank cow for showing me his weakness that day. never would i have imagine the chieftain to be covering eyes when watching horror movie. perhaps the cow is afraid of the goat demon. maybe last time the goat tried to fuck cow inside out. thats why he's still having nightmares of it till now. boo!

and ika? she almost cried while watching the show. LOL! and throughout the show she was hiding in my hoodie and pulling my t shirt. i'm glad that i didnt walk out of the cinema half naked. =D

after that chief ps us to eat buffet with weiqi, leaving the 2 gals for me to eat for dinner.

FINALLY ITS AN UPDATE FROM YAP!

yes yes yes i noe some of the jokers who have been stalking me are dying for me to update with a proper post, but i just cant be bothered. =D

so, today we were having a games day event in our unit. and for no reason, chen shuai was arrowed to participate in the dodge ball event. our team had all officers except the 2 of us. at least it turned out well coz WE ARE THE DODGEBALL CHAMPIONS OF SAFTI MI! ok cool eh? this is so freaking heng and fun!

super busy in camp lately, especially this mth. we've got learning festival coming up, commissioning parade, SAF Day parade and so many other things.

and ya, no matter what i'll find time to meet up with carol! coz we havnt meet up for so long that the number of pages torn from the calender can be used to cover my whole room! OMFG!

started circuit training earlier this week and i was supposed to be running at under 1:40 min per lap. initial training consist of 6 laps, 3 laps under 1:40 and 3 laps at 3:20.
its uber huat up! knn! i cannot even hit the 1:40 timing. i was like 20 secs later. i can die doing this, seriously.

and guess wad? i have to run for ahm this year. i didnt run last year tho and i heard its 21km.

well i just got my pickup for a new custom.

its a seymour duncan sh6n, a neck pickup. well since its cheap thats why i got it. a new one is too costly for wad i'm earning now. (i got it at 1/3 its original price). its quite new, judging from the looks of it. that guy threw in a new plastic pickup cover for me as well. =)

i havnt thought of any middle and bridge pickups at the moment, so i can take my time. when got good deal and i have the money, i'll look into it and see how.

signed up for a mobile bb service from m1. 4mbps voice plan at super discounted rate. best part is that it runs on sim card on a hsdpa network. cool eh? everything wireless. and i was told that if i get a sup line (extra hp line) it only cost 12 per mth and overall i can get a 25 or 30% off my total bill which cost lesser if i only have the bb and my current hp line subscription. sounds lame right? i was supposed to pay like 62 per mth for this bb and hp service, but if i take up one more line, total bill of the 3 service = $55. cool shiats. so i signed up. got a nice number i guess. prolly gonna be my main line bahs. =D

oso got myself a shirt from edc. liked it alot lah! HAHA. now i feel so broke. i recently lost $50 for not listening to ika divine predictions. gambling sucks big time i guess. i just betted for fun nia coz cow like wanna play so badly. didnt noe it will end up like this lol.

jammed nightmare's "end of the world". yes, its our version. i played from "the world" to end of the world. i feel so screwed.
and and and cow me ika ruka went outing at jp! ROAR. had the stupid okos which isnt nice one. =( however it was a fun day! (despite i wanted to catch a show badly that day).

hmm. went down to davis to get some new stuffs. apprently i've lost almost all my picks. dunnoe why.
heng pig gave me this cute little container last time. i used it to put my new picks now. =) got like 4 new ones today. best looking one is the one from nightmare. got this cute cat on it. got myself a new strap with tribal design. got myself strap locks too. (i dun wanna play halfway guitar drop. LOL.). and yes, i managed to get a hoody again. HAA! plain white one. super comfy. from $50 slashed to $30. HAA. thats like a 40% discount attack from yap! roar!

went back to find out that the strap lock cannot fit my that strap button. so i went to file off some extra part on the strap lock myself. damn. it took me like 1 hour to do it myself. how i wish i had something better. arghh.. changed new set of strings after that. sound wise, its more "clear" to a certain extend (not much tho). but the string tension is good. i fucking spent $15 on that set of strings leh. if no good i gonna burn down yamaha for sure! knn! fucking scam me off for a set of strings at a price which i can get 3 sets! farked.

will try to practice more this coming week. tho i still face problems playing while standing i will try my best. tho its simple song, i cannot cock up. the more simple it is, the more i cannot cock up. pressure deh. =(

went out in the middle of the night ytd just to catch IP MAN WITH BFFs! super nice show. prolly the best i've watched so far this year.

this christmas is super broke ok! i spent like half my pay on my wife already! sobs. yaya, and abt wad we read on friday, its SUPER ACCURATE LAH! prolly i gonna get into this and earn abit extra for lessons.
